Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino Recipe

Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 1 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 shot (2 oz) espresso, cooled
  • 2 tbsp chocolate sauce
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups ice
  • 2 tbsp whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips
  • 3 chocolate sandwich cookies (e.g. Oreos), crushed
  • 1 tsp chocolate sauce, extra for drizzling

Method

  1. Crush the 3 chocolate sandwich cookies in a sealed zip-lock bag until you have a coarse crumble with both small crumbs and a few larger pieces. Set aside.
  2. Drizzle the 1 tsp extra chocolate sauce in a slow spiral along the inside walls of a tall 16 oz serving glass.
  3. Add the 2 cups ice, 1 shot (2 oz) cooled espresso, 2 tbsp chocolate sauce, 1 cup whole milk, and 2 tbsp chocolate chips to a blender and blend on high for 30 to 45 seconds until smooth and thick.
  4. Pour the blended frappuccino into the prepared glass, leaving about 1 inch at the top. Spoon on the 2 tbsp whipped cream, scatter the cookie crumble over the top, and serve immediately with a wide straw.

Notes

This drink is best made and drunk right away since the ice melts fast once it's blended. If you're making it for more than 1 person, blend in separate batches rather than trying to scale up in one go, the texture holds better that way. Cooled espresso is key, so pull your shot first and let it rest while you gather everything else.
