Method
- Brew 1 green tea bag in 1 cup of hot water for 3 minutes, remove the bag, and let it cool completely.
- Combine the cooled 1 cup of green tea, 2 tbsp fresh lime juice, and 2 tbsp simple syrup in a glass or pitcher and stir for 20 seconds until the syrup dissolves.
- Fill a tall glass with 1 cup of ice and pour the lime tea mixture over it, then slowly pour the 1/4 cup of coconut milk over the back of a spoon to create a layered look.
- Squeeze 1 lime wedge over the top, drop it on the rim, and serve immediately.
Notes
Brew the tea ahead and keep it in the fridge so this comes together in under 2 minutes when you want it. If your limes are small or not very juicy, use 2 of them to make sure you get a full 2 tbsp. The coconut milk layer will sink as you stir, so show it off before you mix it in.
