Chick-fil-A Lemonade Recipe

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Total Time 15 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (from about 6 to 7 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water (for syrup)
  • 3 cups cold water (for mixing)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Ice, for serving

Method

  1. Squeeze 6 to 7 lemons to get 1 cup of juice and strain it through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds and pulp.
  2. Combine the 1 cup sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir for 3 to 4 minutes until the sugar is fully dissolved and the liquid is clear. Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour the 1 cup lemon juice and cooled simple syrup into a large pitcher. Add the 3 cups cold water and stir for 20 to 30 seconds until fully combined. Taste and adjust with extra lemon juice if needed.
  4. Fill glasses with ice, pour the lemonade over the top, and finish each glass with a lemon wheel or wedge on the rim.

Notes

The simple syrup can be made up to 2 weeks ahead and stored in a sealed jar in the fridge, which makes this a very fast pour when you need it. If you are making a big batch for a gathering, wait to add ice to the pitcher and let guests pour over ice in their own glasses so nothing gets watered down.
