Chick-fil-A Cool Wrap Recipe

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 25 minutes
Servings: 1 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 large flaxseed flatbread (about 12 inches)
  • 6 oz boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 3 tbsp avocado lime ranch dressing

Method

  1. Pat the chicken breast dry, coat with the 1 tsp olive oil, then mix the 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp smoked paprika, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper together and press firmly onto both sides.
  2. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat for 2 minutes, cook the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes on the first side, flip, and cook another 4 to 5 minutes until the internal temperature reads 165°F (74°C). Rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Slice the rested chicken against the grain into 1/2-inch strips.
  4. Lay the flatbread flat, spread the 3 tbsp dressing down the center, then layer on the 1 cup romaine, 1/4 cup red cabbage, 1/4 cup cheese, and the chicken strips.
  5. Fold the short ends in, roll tightly from one long side, slice diagonally in half, and stand the halves cut-side up on a plate with extra dressing alongside.

Notes

The chicken is the one component worth cooking fresh each time; reheated slices are fine but freshly grilled ones are noticeably juicier. If you are making this for more than 1 person, scale up the chicken and seasoning and grill the breasts in batches so the pan stays hot. The dressing is worth tasting before you add it — some store-bought versions are saltier than others, so you may want to hold back a teaspoon.
