Total Time 10 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp simple syrup
  • 1 medium apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced into rounds
  • Ice, for serving
  • 2 cinnamon sticks (optional)

Method

  1. Pour the white wine, apple cider, brandy, triple sec, lemon juice, and simple syrup into a large pitcher and stir for 30 seconds until the syrup is fully combined.
  2. Add the sliced apple, orange rounds, and cinnamon sticks if using, and stir gently to submerge the fruit.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to 12 hours.
  4. Fill glasses with ice, pour the chilled sangria over the ice, and garnish each glass with a fresh apple slice on the rim and an orange round on top.

Notes

This sangria is best made at least 1 hour ahead, but not more than 12 hours before serving. If you're prepping for a party, mix everything except the ice the morning of and refrigerate until guests arrive. A dry Pinot Grigio is the most forgiving wine choice if you're not sure what to buy.
